What is the Spotlight Photo Booth?
It’s a portrait experience built around one crisp circle of light and a bold cast shadow. Guests step into the light, our attendant helps them find their pose, and a postcard print is in their hands moments later.
Can we choose colour or black and white?
Yes. Choose colour or classic black and white for your event, or ask us about our glam finish. Black and white is a favourite at galas and weddings, because the light and shadow do the work. Every portrait also goes into your private online gallery.
Is the Spotlight a glam photo booth?
Yes, in the way most people mean it. A glam booth uses flattering studio light and a polished finish, often in black and white, so everyone looks their best, and that’s exactly what the Spotlight Photo Booth does. It shines at year-end functions, galas and 21st birthday parties, where guests dress up and want a portrait to match.
Why do you recommend postcard prints?
A postcard gives the portrait and its lighting more room than a narrow strip. Strips and Polaroid-style layouts are included too, if you prefer them. See our photo booth print sizes for how each layout looks.
Will it work in our venue?
It works best where the room lighting can be dimmed a little, with space for the backdrop and your guests. Tell us about the spot you have in mind and we’ll plan it with you. At weddings it fits neatly into the cocktail hour, alongside these cocktail-hour entertainment ideas.
Can we add our logo or wedding monogram?
Yes. Send us your artwork and colours, and we’ll work them into your print design. Design is included, and nothing prints until you’ve signed off the layout.
Spotlight or Signature: which should we book?
Book the Spotlight for striking portraits of one person or a small group, with real drama in the light. How much does it cost?
Three hours is R6,000, and each extra hour adds R1,200. Your choice of postcard, strip or Polaroid-style prints is included. Travel depends on your event’s location and is added to the package you request.
